University of British Columbia professor location visit coordination and interpreting
As part of the project, “Research on the Reconstruction of Cities along the Sanriku Coast Damaged by the March 2011 Earthquake and Tsunami,” we assisted David Edington, professor of Human Geography at the University of British Columbia, Canada, who has been visiting the affected areas continuously since 2011, with interpretation, coordination of site visits, data compilation, and other assistance. With the cooperation of many people, from local government officials to local residents, we have traveled to various coastal areas to assist with interviews and surveys.
